Dance Trance is a 60-minute high-intensity cardio-dance fitness class that uses choreography as the base of the workout. Think of it as a flash mob, except you'll have 15-routines to follow and they'll be set to hip-hop, pop, rock and R&B etc. all in one class.
Make no bones about it, this is a legit dance class! We use combinations that can be "tricky" but everything is based on an 8-count, we repeat verses and chorus and there's typically a basic section with maybe a v-step or grapevine to help keep you moving.
Beginners should attend DT Prep where a routine already in rotation is explained in 30-minutes.
DT 101 is also recommended. We teach you a brand new routine and break it down step-by-step. Class is often combined with DT Cardio for the second half.
Wear sneakers with light tread that allow for pivots and turns but aren't slippery. Street shoes, slippers or bare feet are not recommended.
Did you take Ballet as a kid but haven't done a thing with it since you were in school? Urban Ballet is for you.
It's a workout designed by our in-house ballerinas to let you use what you learned in your local dance center and transform it into a workout.
You will begin with a simple warm up, then move to the barre for your traditional ballet exercises like an Attitude, Arabesque or Tendu and then run through an 8-count across-the-floor combination before cooling down.
Ballet slippers or bare feet are recommended.
TURN UP YOGA
Ever held your downward dog to the
It could happen in our TURN Up Yoga class held every Sunday. We want this class to help you stretch out sore muscles but also build up your strength in yoga poses and flows so that you're ready to TURN up again on Monday.
But, be ready for some Warren G and Jay Z because the playlist is straight hip-hop. We are gonna keep it cool - but inspire you to drop it low, because that's how we do it at TURN.
Sometimes you just need to get back to basics. That's why we created Urban Sculpt: a weight lifting and interval cardio class set to great music. If you've ever done BodyPump or a resistance training group classes, Urban Sculpt is our version of that.

ASS & ABS
Okay, now that I have your attention! We could have just called this class Booty Wurk or Booty Bootcamp but we thought we'd get right to the nitty gritty, so you know exactly what to expect: Ass & Abs.
For 30-minutes we are gonna focus on that booty of yours so it's firmer, rounder and maybe even bigger (if you're end zone has been in the negatives). We're also going to target those pockets under the glute that attach to your hamstring - we've nicknamed that area the "thut" - where your thigh meets your butt.
There are three main regions in your glutes and we plan to target them all with everything from squats and lunges to bridges and clams. This will be HIIT style - so we will go hard with small rests in between.
In the last part of class we hit your abs, because really - our focus is "little in the middle, but she got much back."
Ya feel me? Yeah - you do.
Bring on swimsuit season!
Question: What is TRX?
Answer: Total Body Resistance Exercise
This interval class uses suspension training and timed intervals. Yeah - that means using straps anchored to ceiling mounts to get your workout in.
Since we're talking about your body weight and gravity acting as your resistance, you have to work your core... a lot, in order to stay stationary.
Quick bursts of cardio add fat burning of this workout. Makes all your muscles, including your heart, stronger!
Class size is limited to 10.
Need a little coaching and a circuit or two to get you going? We can help out with our 45-minute Bootcamp that will get you stronger for whatever life throws at you. Expect a different mix of cardio and full-body strength exercises done in intervals.
Depending on the class size, participants will rotate through timed exercises that use weights, TRX straps, ladder drills and your own body weight to focus on your upper and lower body and abs.
Appropriate for all fitness levels.
